Great collaboration and joint working between Cobham conservation and Heritage and Surrey County council has resulted in the footpath running alongside Knowle Hill Park field and parallel with Lodge Close being resurfaced and significantly improved.
This was achieved due to CCHT successfully being granted funding from Elmbridge Councils CIL fund plus also contributing themselves.
The work has taken a few weeks and will now allow all local residents to use it all year round – a big improvement from the impassable state that occurs in the winter. A disabled access gate will also be installed.
NB cycling is not permitted on this footpath.
